Synopsis: A French illusionist finds himself out of work and travels to Scotland, where he meets a young woman. Their ensuing adventure changes both their lives forever.

Thoughts: I don’t think I have seen an animated film the looks as good as The Illusionist. Even the legendary Hayao Miyazaki’s films (of ‘Spirited Away’, ‘Howl’s Moving Castle’, and ‘Princess Mononoke’ fame) don’t look this good (in my opinion). I am immediatly taken into the world of The Illusionist and I never want to leave. I just wish they didn’t flood the trailer with review quotes and just let the movie speak for itself :/.

The Illusionist is directed by Sylvain Chomet. No release date has been set at this time for the United States.
