Synopsis: A lawyer conducts business from the back of his Lincoln town car while representing a high-profile client in Beverly Hills.

Thoughts: The Lincoln Lawyer trailer advertises an intense mystery thriller, but there is something lacking. Like why does an Matthew McConaughey’s character even get involved on a personal level with the mystery at hand? Seems like one scene he is telling Ryan Phillippe to play it innocent and the next he is desperately trying to unravel the truth behind the crime. One could argue all lawyers need to know the truth behind their defendant’s crime, but this trailer is definitely showing McConaughey’s diving deep into. I know this will all be revealed in the movie, but for trailer viewing sake, a little more info would be nice.

The last scene of the trailer made me laugh. It’s just so tense, yet we have no clue why. All we know is… SHIT IS SERIOUS UP IN THIS TRAILER!
