Synopsis: Arthur Christmas is an action-adventure comedy set on Christmas eve, which reveals how Santa and his huge army of high-tech ‘combat elves’ can actually get round the whole world in one night. Arthur Christmas is written by Oscar nominated comedy writer Peter Baynham (Borat) and Britcom writer-producer-director Sarah Smith.

Thoughts: Ha! Santa flying a giant red UFO like ship instead of a sleigh. That was awesome. I like teasers like this. They aren’t made of footage from the film like trailers. The footage is specifically made for the teaser. A good sign the movie isn’t a hallow money grab.

Arthur Christmas is directed by Sarah Smith and Barry Cook. Starring James McAvoy, Hugh Laurie, Jim Broadbent, Bill Nighy, Imelda Staunton, and Ashley Jensen. Look for it in theaters November 23rd, 2011.
