Synopsis: FALLING SKIES opens in the chaotic aftermath of an alien attack that has left most of the world completely incapacitated. In the six months since the initial invasion, the few survivors have banded together outside major cities to begin the difficult task of fighting back. Each day is a test of survival as citizen soldiers work to protect the people in their care while also engaging in an insurgency campaign against the occupying alien force.

Thoughts: Ok, I am excited to see Falling Skies after watching this preview trailer. It doesn’t look like it’s pulling any punches in the effects department like most Sci-Fi tv shows. The concept is recycled. Reminds me of War Of The Worlds (the remake with Tom Cruise). This is not unexpected as the War Of The Worlds remake was directed by Steven Spielberg, who is acting as executive producer on Falling Skies. It’s fine. There is plenty of room for a different perspective in the post alien invasion apocalypse.
