Thoughts: Stylish and filled with glorious action sequences, Priest looks like a somewhat dumb but fun as hell to watch Summer blockbuster. I like the cast and I especially like the main villain played by Karl Urban. The movie definitely feels like a true to form manga adaption.

Thoughts: Another solid trailer for Paul. This trailer gives us a better idea of Paul’s personality and abilities.

Scrat’s Continental Crack-Up

Thoughts: This trailer is nuts. The insanity is partially why I am posting it. Ultraman is also one of the most iconic Japanese superheroes of all time, so I figured maybe some of our readers / viewers will appreciate this trailer.

As for me, it’s about what I would expect from a movie based on a somewhat zany japanese superhero show from the 60′s. I can’t take it seriously by any means, but I’d definitely be down to watch it. Maybe after a drink or two.

Interesting note, this film is also titled ‘Ultraman Zero The Movie: Super Deciding Fight! The Belial Galactic Empire‘. Lol. Super Deciding Fight? Ok…

Ultraman Zero stars Mamoru Miyano. Directed by Yûichi Abe. Ultraman Zero is not scheduled to release in the U.S. at this time. But keep an eye out on Amazon. I am sure it will pop up on DVD sooner or later.

Thoughts: Ok, I am excited to see Falling Skies after watching this preview trailer. It doesn’t look like it’s pulling any punches in the effects department like most Sci-Fi tv shows. The concept is recycled. Reminds me of War Of The Worlds (the remake with Tom Cruise). This is not unexpected as the War Of The Worlds remake was directed by Steven Spielberg, who is acting as executive producer on Falling Skies. It’s fine. There is plenty of room for a different perspective in the post alien invasion apocalypse.

Thoughts: A little too brief, even for a teaser trailer. Shows nothing new from the 1st film. Nothing to get excited over unless your a Kung Fu Panda fan already. In that case, the studio could have just flashed the Kung Fu Panda 2 logo and saved them selves money on producing this trailer.

Kung Fu Panda 2 hits theaters May 26th, 2011. Starring Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Seth Rogen, Gary Oldman, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Lucy Liu, David Cross, James Woods, and Michelle Yeoh. Directed by Jennifer Yuh.

Thoughts: Cedar Rapids looks gooooood. Loving the ensemble cast and unique story. I never thought I would see Ed Helms star in a leading role for a movie. But he looks like a good lead in Cedar Rapids. I am excited to see this flick.

Cedar Rapids hits theaters February 11th, 2011. Starring Ed Helms, John C. Reilly, Anne Heche, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Kurtwood Smith, Stephen Root, Sigourney Weaver, and Alia Shawkat. Directed by Miguel Arteta.

Thoughts: A rather confusing trailer this is. We know it’s about a village that somehow is protected from the black plague. We know some knights, or rather, men who dress like knights, venture off to find out how this village is safeguarded from the plague. And somehow that involves a lot of violence and hints of the supernatural. Very very vague. Not a lot for me, as a viewer, to like. With Sean Bean starring, it looks like Lord Of The Rings. A sort of spin off story of men from middle earth.
